
B. Prabha grew up in the village of Bela, near Nagpur in Marashtra. She moved to Mumbai and attended Sir J.J. School of Art. B. Prabha has been in over fifty exhibitions in India and abroad. In 1956, she had her first exhibition with her husband, B. Vithal. Her work is included in several collections, including Ewing Krainin Gallery, Waikiki, The National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, and Air India. B. Prabha won first prize at the Maharashtra State Art Exhibition in 1958. She died in September, 2001.
