Toni Cavelti trained as a jeweller in Geneva, Switzerland from 1952 until 1954. After finishing, he emigrated to Canada where he established his own workshop and salon inVancouver, British Columbia. He has since been presented with four "Diamonds International Awards" and has exhibited at the Goldsmith Hall in London and the World's Fair in Montreal. He is also a member of the Diamonds International Academy. His most prestigious commission has been from the government of British Columbia in 1971 to design a necklace for her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
