The idiosyncratic artist, Daniel Brush, has been making, with his own hands, objects of virtue since the early 1970s, treating his medium with the same passion he devotes to his painting. Mr. Brush creates one-of-a-kind jewels from precious gemstones and exotic space-age metals, making only a few pieces each year. His work is found in public, private and royal collections, and he was honored with a 30 year retrospective exhibition at the Smithsonian, Washington, D.C. in 1998, which was accompanied by a lavish monograph published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc.
