Svend Andersen was born in Denmark in 1942. With a diploma from the Danish watchmaker school he went to Switzerland in 1963 to see how the world's best watches were made. He has worked with Gubelin and Patek Philippe, and earned the title of "watchmaker of the impossible" for his invention of the "bottle clock". In 1979 Andersen started his own workshop and in 1989 created his first word time watch "Communication" followed by a special subscription series "Communication 24".To this date,Andersen has made more than 100 unique watches, and the "Eros" - the most sophisticated and animated erotic automaton wristwatch, remains on high demand of exigent collectors and connoisseurs worldwide.
